Pollsters abound in our culture: major networks all have them and there's Gallop, Zogby, P.I.P.A and Pew to name just a few of the many.  Fascinating poll topics, questions, results and trends offer those of us unendowed with pronounced psychic ability, minute views of the future and present snapshots of the pulse of the nation and the world.

Over the past month or so, i've written down (safe at stoplights) a sampling of what i call the "bumper sticker poll".  Of course this is an informal effort, that simply offers you, our listeners/readers a snapshot of what kinds of ideas are floating around here, on the streets of East Hawai'i.  These are offered to you in the order seen and recorded, and beyond the old '04 political campaign stickers:
